Comments
Routine inspection conducted today. Water system is supplied by two wells (well 1 & well 5) and services 33 connections. Well 5 is 12 inches above ground. Well 1 is 1 inch above the concrete ground. Both wells are located in secure structures to protect from contamination, and have plate ID's attached. Water is blended from both wells and goes through cartridge filtration (altering between 5 micron and 1 micron depending on seasonal water quality), UV and chlorine. 40,000 gallon storage tank onsite that stores potable water. Regular cleaning and maintenance schedule is in place. Chlorine residuals are monitored digitally and manually. Records are available onsite. All equipment observed to be in working condition. Historical bacteriological sample results have been satisfactory. Metal scans are conducted quarterly. Manganese and iron exceed legislative requirements. A construction permit waiver to install treatment for these parameters is in the works. 2025 annual report to be submitted to this office by June 30, 2026.
