Comments
Active water source: A deep well with plate # 43655 is located at proximity of the old well and a newly installed cistern. Active well is registered with MOE and has a tag # 113359. The well cap noted proper and secured. No pooling water or depression around well head. The old well has been decommissioned. Ground around the well head is slightly sloped towards the street. No overgrown or tall grasses around the well head. Pump House: Water drawn from the well gets injected with chlorine dosed by an automatic system. Water then stored in reservoir as retention tank and then further distributed to the residence. Pump house noted secure and the door equipped with a lock. Bacteriological samples have been regularly submitted. Level 1 GARP assessment has been conducted for the active well Plate ID # 43655. The well found to be AT LOW RISK of pathogens. NOTE: Currently the system is on boil water notice. As this system is on chlorine as primary disinfectant, regular testing of chlorine residue must be conducted. Ensure to test weekly and record results. Chlorine level must remain min 0.2 ppm at the furthest point of the system. Operator is required to submit a new schematic of the water system showing the flow of water and details of the system components..
