Critical Microbiological Contamination of Raw Water Supply Due To Sewage
The water system remains on a Boil Water Notice, issued July 18, 2025, due to source contamination with E. Coli and total coliform bacteria.
Corrective Actions: A construction proposal for the installation of water treatment equipment has been approved by this office. In the interim prior to construction and commissioning for the treatment plant, notify all water system users of the ongoing boil water notice and of how to use water appropriately throughout the duration of the notice.

Non-Critical Inadequate Microbiological Analysis data
Water sample paperwork is not completed correctly, or incorrect sample collection dates and times are recorded which prevents accurate water sample analysis.
Corrective Actions: Ensure that sample requisitions are not reused. Discard copies of each requisition used following its submission with the sample. Ensure all dates and times recorded for sample collection are correct.

The Boil Water Notice remains in place for this facility and will remain until treatment and disinfection equipment to satisfy the requirements of the GWTO have been commissioned.
Corrective Actions: Ensure commissioning of the treatment plant in accordance with CPW Application Approval (Wv-543) and the operating permit terms and conditions for this water supply system.
