GENERAL COMMENTS: - Raw water (untreated) sample port to be installed prior to any treatment; with chlorination moved back to pre-filtration location, former raw water sample tap is no longer untreated water. Raw water samples have been taken as a dip sample from the lake intake location; a sample tap located in the treatment building will better represent the quality of water that is treated by the plant. Please notify the Drinking Water Officer (DWO) when this task is completed. - 2024 Annual report was submitted to DWO; reminder that 2025 annual report is due June 30, 2026. - Bacteriological sampling is being done as per the required frequency and results have been satisfactory. - The water system has been on numerous Boil Water Notices over the past two years due to excessive turbidity, with some Notices being in place for an extended period. It appears that the water system treatment process is unable to adequately treat for turbidity in the source water. The owner is requested to contact the Drinking Water Officer at their earliest convenience to discuss this issue.
