Comments
Routine inspection of drinking water system conducted alongside CRD representative and on-site operator. System currently services 71 homes. Source is groundwater, deep Well #5A (ID: 13000).Treatment consists of two-step filtration: manganese dioxide media (AdEdge AD26) for iron and manganese removal and iron oxide media for arsenic reduction/adsorption (AdEdge Bayoxide E33). Disinfection consists of chlorination and NSF 55 Class A UV unit. System has post-treatment storage tanks, cleaning and maintenance conducted on a routine basis. Bacteriological sampling conducted as required, no adverse results in past 24 months. Turbidity monitored weekly, less than 1 NTU. Chlorine residual monitored weekly. Chemical analysis up to date. 2024 Annual Report submitted to Drinking Water Officer and available to public on CRD site. System is very well maintained.
