Water in the holding tanks is cloudy. The hot water tank was changed two days ago, and now the water in the tanks is cloudy.
Corrective Actions: The operator is contacting the water system operator to determine the cause. A bacteriological sample was submitted on February 22, 2022, to the lab. Boil water notice signs are posted at the sink in the public restroom, and the tenant upstairs has been notified.
Non-Critical Source unprotected and subject to contamination
The water holding tank (second) is missing the access cover.
Corrective Actions: Provide an access cover (vent screened).
Non-Critical Inadequate Microbiological Analysis data
In 2020, 6 of 12 bacteriology samples were submitted. In 2021, 8 of 12 bacteriological samples were submitted.
Corrective Actions: A bacteriology analysis is required monthly. Ensure that water samples are submitted monthly.
Non-Critical Inadequate Chemical Analysis Data
A chemical analysis was last completed in 2014.
Corrective Actions: Chemical analysis is to be done every five years. Conduct and submit a chemical analysis of raw water. Ensure that UV Transmittance and Organics (i.e. nitrate) are included in the analysis. Submit within 90 days.
