Routine inspection alongside contract water operator. System services East Point Ocean Cottages (resort). Source is hauled water from South Island Water. Groundwater is no longer used and wells have been physically disconnected from the system. Water is stored in two cisterns. Cleaning/disinfection of tanks is completed annually. Water samples are taken monthly from cistern and analyzed in a private certified laboratory. Please ensure all water results are forwarded to Drinking Water Officer.
