Water is received from the Pete's Lake Water Source (untreated surface water) from the main connection entering the property. For the commercial establishment, a point of entry system consists of a 5 micron and UV - B filtration system that has not changed since the last site visit in June 2025. This water is boiled through cooking processes. Water is also used for hand washing in the commercial establishment. There are additional connections on the property. Water samples are submitted monthly and results are publicly available on the Drinking Water Sample Site through Island Health website online; listed under Petes Lake Water Users Society WWS. There have been counts of total coliform or estimated counts in the past year and no counts of E.coli. The distribution system continues to be on a Boil Water Notice.
