- Repeated total coliform counts in Distribution System not easily addressed or resolved with maintenance efforts, including shock chlorination of Well and Distribution System. Issue has re-occurred in 2026, 2025, 2020 and 2016. facility has voluntary shifted to an alternate potable water source for drinking and food preparation.

Corrective Actions: - Start maintaining weekly bacteriological testing until directed by Drinking Water Officer to return to routine sampling frequency. Facility has planned to scrub and plunge Well before end of July 2026. After maintenance thoroughly shock chlorinate Well and Distribution System at 50 to 200 parts per million for 12 - 24 hours, then flush till chlorine below 2.0 parts per million. Do not return to potable water use of system till done in consultation with Drinking Water Officer and have at least 2 bacteriological sample sets in a row without total coliforms.

Corrective Actions: - Provide copy by September 4 2026. Plan should include; mapping, 100 foot protection area, identifying potential risks, how risks will be prevented or mitigated and plan for maintenance.

- Require updated chemical test of Well water quality meeting parameters required by Island Health, including UVT and an additional Manganese test at the end Distribution System.

Corrective Actions: - Address shortly after planned maintenance end of July 2026 and provide inspector copy of results.
