Observations: Licensing observed a broken fence panel with sharp edges, cinder blocks positioned on the corners of turf, log rounds used for standing on and jumping on pavement, wood rot accessible to children on the bottom of the wooden composite climber.
3000 - SPS DOLSOP (Entanglement)
Description: Equipment is free of entanglement hazards in areas of uncontrolled motion. (Something around the child’s neck becomes caught on equipment) Use Entanglement test device

Observations: Licensing used the entanglement device and detected entanglements on both sides of the red slide. This represents an immediate risk to the health and safety of a child and must be corrected immediately. Manager stated that the slide would not be used until the entanglement was corrected and tested by Licensing.

Description: A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: a criminal record check for the person
