3000 - CCLR 47
Description: A licensee, other than a licensee who provides a care program described as School Age Care on School Grounds, must ensure that any heated water accessible to children is heated to no more than 49° Celsius.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure person in care do not have access to water greater than 49 degrees Celsius.

Observations: Licensing tested three sinks that were accessible to children. One washbasins was 51.3 degrees Celsius. This represents an immediate risk to the health and safety of persons in care and must be corrected immediately. The Manager said that use of sink would be monitored and maintenance will be requested to turn off the hot water, like the other two sinks. Full compliance will not be achieved until the plan has been implemented and completed.
3030 - CCLR 34(2)(a)
Description: Without limiting subsection (1) a licensee must ensure that children attending a community care facility are divided into groups, with each group having no more children than that permitted in Schedule E, (except FCC/IHMACC/REC; child qualified if in age range or within one month (except GCC School Age)).
