Observations: Licensing measured the temperature of the water in the bathrooms and kitchen. One bathroom had a temperature of 55.7 degrees Celsius and the kitchen had a temperature of 49.6 degrees Celsius. This represents an immediate risk to the health and safety of the persons in care and must be corrected immediately. The Manager of the facility submitted a plan on December 7, 2023 that stated the maintenance for the facility will be coming December 7, 2023 to adjust the hot water and the facility will conduct daily monitoring of the hot water temperature for three weeks. Full compliance will not be achieved until the plan has been implemented and completed.
