Description: A licensee must ensure that children have at all times immediate access to an employee who holds a valid first aid and CPR certificate, provided on completion of a course that meets the requirements of Schedule C,
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that children are supervised by a staff person who holds a valid first aid certificate.

Observations: Licensee stated that as of today they had not been able to obtain their First Aid course. This contravention is being carried over from the May 2023 Routine Inspection.
3030 - CCALA 7(1)(b)(i)
Description: A licensee must operate the community care facility in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of person in care
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that the capacity of the facility is not exceeded.

Observations: Licensing observed that there were eight children in care at the time of the inspection.
3060 - CCLR 46(1)
Description: A licensee must establish a program to instruct children in, and to practise the rules of, health and hygiene.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that the practice of hand washing is conducted in a manner to promote the health and safety of children.

Observations: Licensing observed one large towel, in the bathroom, for use by all the children.
3070 - CCLR 57(2)(a)
Description: A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a)name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number (MSP number does not apply to REC only) and immunization status.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that all children's record contain the child's medical services number.
