3010 - CCLR 19(1)(a)
Description: A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: a criminal record check for the person
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that all staff have up to date criminal record reviews on file at the facility.

Observations: A review of the Manager's file indicated that the criminal record review had expired August 21, 2022.
3030 - CCLR 34(1)
Description: A licensee must ensure that children are adequately supervised by qualified employees in sufficient numbers to meet the needs of each child.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that all staff have the required current certificates.

Observations: In discussion with the Manager and observed by Licensing, the Early Childhood Educator certificate for a staff person had expired.
3050 - CCLR 48(6)
Description: A licensee must make available to parents information on the food and drink given to children.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure a process to make information on food/drink provided by the facility available to parents.

Observations: The staff provide snacks to children, but the information regarding snacks was not made available to the parents.
3070 - CCLR 57(2)(a)
Description: A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a)name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number (MSP number does not apply to REC only) and immunization status.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that all children in care have a medical services number on child's file.
