Observations: Licensing observed disinfectant wipes that were accessible to children. There was one tall shelf not secured to the wall and three stereos that were not secured to the shelf in the sleep rooms above where children sleep
3010 - CCLR 19(1)(a)
Description: A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: a criminal record check for the person

Observations: Licensing observed staff to child ratio was not in compliance in the Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) Infant 3 Program. There was no Infant Toddler Educator (ITE) this date. Manager stated that one staff (ITE) had left February 1, 2022 and they had not been replaced.
3070 - CCLR 57(2)(i)
Description: A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information:(i) a photograph or digital image of the child, and other information that can be used to readily identify the child in an emergency

Observations: Licensing audited ten children's files. Nine children's files did not have a digital photo to ready identify children in case of an emergency. Small photos of the children were stored electronically.
