Description: A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: a criminal record check for the person
Corrective Actions Required:
Corrective Actions Taken By Licensee: Since the Routine Inspection of October 28, 2020 the facility has had a number of closures due to COVID-19. There has been a change in manager and Licensee Contact and a turn over of staff. All current employee records will be reviewed at the next Routine Inspection to determine if current employees have valid CRCs on file.
Actions Required By Licensing: No further action required; this contravention has been addressed.
