Corrective Actions Required: Ensure the community care facility is operated in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of children in care. Action/s Required by Licensee; Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. On May 26, 2026, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: measures were taken immediately to stop mixing the cleaning products to ensure the safety and well being of both children and staff. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.
Corrective Actions Taken By Licensee: On May 26, 2026, Licensee confirmed staff were no longer mixing cleaning supplies.
Actions Required By Licensing: Follow Up Inspection to be conducted.

Observations: Regarding intake dated April 23, 2026. Through a review of the interviews, Licensing determined that staff had mixed bleach and Pine Sol to wash the playroom floor, creating a strong chemical reaction (fumes) considered as a health and safety concern for children in care.
