3030 - CCLR 51(1)(b)
Description: A licensee must provide to employees and parents a written statement of the licensee’s policy on behavioural guidance.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure to provide employees and parents with written statements of the licensee's policy on behavioural guidance. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On March 9, 2026, Licensee submitted a corrective action to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: A revised behavioural guidance policy with toileting strategies included, would be submitted to Licensing by April 1, 2026. The policy would include that staff were not to use physical force, restraint, or any guidance practices that may cause physical or emotional harm to a child. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

Observations: Related to intake dated January 20, 2026. Through the investigation process, Licensing determined the Licensee's behavioural guidance policy had not been followed.

Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that a child, while under the care or supervision of the licensee, is not subjected to physical abuse. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On March 9, 2026, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The plan was not approved in full and additional information was requested.
