Observations: Licensing observed that three different pieces of equipment containing slides and climbing had been situated immediately next to each other containing no clearance. A red slide was also observed situated next to the facility fence with no clearance.

Observations: Licenisng observed that a record had not been kept of the yearly emergency drill practiced.
3030 - CCLR 34(2)(b)

Observations: Licensing observed that the ECE working at this facility left the program through a door that connects 940 and 938 Walfred Road, switching with the ECEA that was working at another facility and not ensuring staff to child ratio was maintained as an ECE is required in the Mutli Age Child Care category of care.

Observations: Licensing observed an Educator transfer between two residences [both licenced community care facilities] by way of a door that connected one licenced facility to the second facility at time of inspection. Licensing reviewed a plan, received on August 8, 2023, was not being followed, which indicated both licenced community care facilities would be physically separated [separate legal addresses] and a door that connected the two residences allowing common access would remain locked and physically separated at all times.

Description: A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner (doctor's name and number does not apply to REC only) and emergency contact

Observations: Licensee stated a Ford passenger van had been purchased and that 12 children were being transported to activities with one ECE and one ECEA. This was not following an approved Corrective Action Plan dated July 14, 2023 that stated that Licensee will be transporting all children to outings.
