Observations: Licensing observed there was no record of a fire drill practiced in December 2021.
3070 - CCLR 57(2)(d)
Description: A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner (doctor's name and number does not apply to REC only) and emergency contact
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure all children have a medical practitioner or walk in clinic contact information on file.

Observations: Licensing reviewed five children's files. One child did not have a record of a medical practitioner on file.

Corrective Actions Required: Ensure a log of inspections, maintenance and repairs as well as a thorough daily, monthly and annual inspections, of the outdoor play area is performed and recorded.

Observations: Licensing reviewed the log of inspections, maintenance and repairs of the outdoor play area and did not see a record of thorough daily, monthly and annual inspections, as well as maintenance and repairs of the outdoor play area performed and recorded. Licensee stated her staff put a tick on the attendance record to show the outdoor play area has been inspection. There was no record of what staff were inspecting and there were days on the attendance record where there was no tick.
