Observations: Licensing observed that in the Group Child Care Under 36 month and Group Child Care 30 months - School Age programs, the cleanliness was below a reasonable level. Concerns in the Under 36 month program were related to the washroom (e.g., changing area was left dirty with wipes out), level of cleanliness of circle carpet, stains on fabric blocks, and paint/smudges on walls. Concerns in the 30 month - School Age program were related to the paint/smudges on the walls, windowsills, and high touch areas.

Description: A licensee must ensure that all indoor and outdoor play materials and equipment accessible to children are safely constructed, free from hazards and in good repair.

Observations: Licensing observed that the small slide in the Group Child Care Under 36 month playground was only 2 feet away from the composite climber.

Observations: Licensing observed that in the Group Child Care Under 36 months playground, cement along the building wall was cracked, exposing sharp edges. Additionally, in the Group Child Care 30 months - School age program, the basketball net's plastic base was cracked and tips over easily. Licensing also noted that spray bottles full of cleaner were within children's reach in the Group Child Care 30 month - School Age program washroom.
