Description: Without limiting subsection (1) a licensee must ensure that children attending a community care facility are divided into groups, with each group having no more children than that permitted in Schedule E, (except FCC/IHMACC/REC; child qualified if in age range or within one month (except GCC School Age)).

Observations: Licensing observed four children under the age of 36 months in care this date. Legislative requirements indicate there can be no more than three children under the age of 36 months in an In-Home Multi-Age Child Care program. Additionally, Licensing observed the attendance records for the months of June, July, August and September 2023 which indicated there were four or five children in attendance under the age of 36 months in care on multiple days. Licensee stated she was aware she had more than the allowed maximum of three children under the age of 36 months in care.
