Description: A licensee, other than a licensee who provides a care program described as School Age Care on School Grounds, must ensure that any heated water accessible to children is heated to no more than 49° Celsius.

Observations: All sinks (8) accessible by children were above 49 degrees. These temperatures ranged from 50.2 - 52.8 degrees. This represents an immediate risk to the health and safety of persons in care and must be corrected immediately. The Manager turned off the hot water during the inspection and stated it would not be turned on until Licensing could return to reassess. Full compliance will not be achieved until the plan has been implemented and completed.

Observations: Licensing observed that care plans existed for two children, but had not been reviewed (dated and signed) by families within the last year.

Observations: Licensing observed that the only files on site were for the kindergartens and grade 1s. No files for the children Grade 2 to Grade 7 for when they come in the morning were on site. Similar, files for school age staff who move between programs weren't on site.
