Observations: Licensing observed that a plastic climber measuring 4 feet in height was installed over hard dirt and gravel.
3010 - CCLR 60(3)(b)
Description: A licensee must keep all criminal record check results and character references for the entire time that the subject of the criminal record check or character reference is ordinarily present on the premises.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure a Criminal Record Check is obtained for persons who are ordinarily present.

Observations: Licensing observed that a Criminal Record Check had not been obtained for a maintenance worker who is ordinarily present at the community care facility. Manager stated the maintenance worker was employed by the church and was on site on most days, and accessed a storage closet located in the downstairs licensed space.
3020 - CCLR 56(1)(c)
Description: A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (c) a record respecting compliance with section 22 (2) (b) and (c) [emergency training and equipment]

3070 - CCLR 57(3)(b)
Description: A licensee must have in writing from a parent, and maintain at the community care facility, consent (b) to release a child to someone other than the parent.

Observations: Licensing audited four children's file, one was missing consent to release a child to someone other than a parent.
3070 - CCLR 58(2)(b)
