Observations: Licensing observed a wheel burrow up against the shed in the outdoor play space.

Description: A licensee, other than a licensee who provides a care program described as School Age Care on School Grounds, must ensure that any heated water accessible to children is heated to no more than 49° Celsius.

Observations: Licensing tested one bathroom sink where children accessed hot water and the temperature was 55.2 degrees Celsius. This represents an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care and must be corrected immediately. Licensee stated the hot water will be turned off. Full compliance will not be achieved until the plan has been implemented and completed. This violation is being carried over from Routine Inspection dated February 2, 2022.
