Observations: Licensing observed that a bathroom in the Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) program was used for garbage and recycling storage. In the same program licensing observed a bag of used tissues had been placed on top of napping cot.
3000 - CCLR 17
Description: A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure hazards are not accessible to children in care.

Observations: Licensing observed children in care had access to plastic bags located underneath the bathroom sink.
3020 - CCLR 56(1)(c)

Observations: Licensing observed that a fire drill conducted in the month of February had not been recorded for one Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) program, fire drill had not been recorded since October 2022 for another Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) program and a fire drill had not been recorded for December 2022 in another Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) program.
3080 - CCLR 11(4)
Description: A licensee must display in a prominent place in the community care facility the certificate of any educator or assistant employed to work in the community care facility.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure certificates for an educator/ assistant are displayed in a prominent place.
