Observations: Licensing observed a plastic swimming pool in the Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) yard had a big crack in it that had sharp edges.
3010 - CCLR 19(1)(a)
Description: A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: a criminal record check for the person

Observations: Licensing audited nine staff files and observed one missing CRC thought the CRRA.
3070 - CCLR 57(3)(b)
Description: A licensee must have in writing from a parent, and maintain at the community care facility, consent (b) to release a child to someone other than the parent.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure all children's files have written consent from parent to release to someone other than a parent.

Observations: Licensing audited ten children's files and observed one missing to release a child to someone other than a parent.
3070 - CCLR 58(2)(b)
Description: The licensee must review the care plan at least once each year with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure care plans are reviewed at least onece a year with parent and any persons requested by parent.

Observations: Licensing audited five care plans and observed five had last been reviewed in July 2022. Manager stated the care plans had not been reviewed.
