Observations: Licensing toured four person in care's bedrooms. Two bedrooms contained medicated creams which were not safely and securely stored.
3010 - RCR 37(1)(c)
Description: A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has obtained all of the following: a record of the person’s work history

Observations: Licensing audited three employee files. All three files did not have a record of work history.

Observations: Licensing audited two persons in care's Medication Administration Records for January 2023. Both records had multiple entries indicating late administrations. Licensing spoke with the Manager who stated this could be due to computer malfunction. There was not a system in place to document these malfunctions.
