3030 - RCR 81(1)
Description: If a person in care is admitted to the community care facility for a period of more than 30 days, a licensee must ensure that a care plan for the person in care is made in accordance with this section within 30 days of admission.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that if a person in care is admitted to a community care facility for a period of more than 30 days, that a care plan for the person in care is made.

Observations: Licensing audited the care plans for three persons in care, and observed that one person in care had been admitted for greater than 30 days and did not have a care plan made in accordance with the legislative requirements.
3070 - CCALA 7(1)(b)(i)
Description: A licensee must do all of the following: (b) operate the community care facility in a manner that will promote (i) the health, safety and dignity of persons in care,

Observations: Licensing audited the records for three persons in care, and reviewed a document titled 'Care RX and Care Plan', which consisted of check-boxes, completed in pencil. There was also no record of previous versions of this document, what changes had been made, if any, as well as writing that was visibly erased. In addition, this document was not individualized to the persons in care, and acted as a generic template.
3070 - RCR 91(2)(c)
Description: In respect of a record referred to in this regulation, a licensee must produce records, on demand, to the medical health officer

Observations: Manager stated they did not have access to staff files with records required by legislation. Licensing was unable to review staff files.
