Description: A licensee must have first aid kits that are readily accessible to all employees, including while care is provided off the community care facility premises.

3030 - CCLR 34(2)(a)
Description: Without limiting subsection (1) a licensee must ensure that children attending a community care facility are divided into groups, with each group having no more children than that permitted in Schedule E, (except FCC/IHMACC/REC; child qualified if in age range or within one month (except GCC School Age)).
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure children are divided into groups, with each group having no more than that permitted in Schedule E, no more than four children under 48 months and those four no more than two children younger than 24 months old.

Observations: Licensing observed there were five children under 48 months (Ages:2.4, 2.11, 2.11, 3, 3.5) in care with the Licensee. Licensee stated the fifth child under 48 months was attending only for January 4, 2024. This did not meet Schedule E with no more than four children under 48 months.
3050 - CCALA 7(1)(b)(i)
Description: A licensee must do all of the following:(b) operate the community care facility in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care

Corrective Actions Taken By Licensee: Licensing observed the submitted CAP for the lead in water was being followed and recorded. Licensee stated she had flushed the water, recorded and had installed a water filter.
