Description: Despite this section, during the half hour before a care program begins and the half hour after a care program ends, a licensee may permit children who would otherwise be grouped in different care programs, and who are arriving at or leaving the community care facility, to be grouped together and supervised other than as required under Schedule E if (a) the care program is described as Multi-Age Child Care, Group Child Care (Under 36 Months), Group Child Care (30 Months to School Age) or Group Child Care (School Age),
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that during the half hour before a care program begins and the half hour after a care program ends, a licensee may permit children who are otherwise grouped in different care programs, and who are arriving at or leaving the community care facility, to be grouped together and supervised other than as required under Schedule E if (a) the care program is described other than as required as Multi-Age Child Care, Group Child Care (Under 36 Months), Group Child Care (30 Months to School Age) or Group Child Care (School Age). Action/s required by Licensee; Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s required by Licensing: On November 20, 2025, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: Children will no longer be mixed inside and outside. The gate will be closed between the two play yards to create a barrier between the two groups when outside at the same time. An additional Infant/Toddler Educator was hired effective December 2025 to provide staff relief for breaks to ensure children are not mixed to accommodate staff breaks. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

Observations: Regarding intake received November 10, 2025. Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that children from Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) and Group Child Care (30 Months to School Age) programs were regularly combined together as one grouping both indoor and outdoors throughout the day.
3030 - CCLR 34(2)(b)
Description: Without limiting subsection (1), a licensee must ensure that the ratio of employees to children attending a community care facility is no less than that permitted in Schedule E.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that the ratio of employees to chidlren attending the community care facility is no less than that permitted in Schedule E. Action/s required by Licensee; Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s required by Licensing: On November 20, 2025, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: As of November 21, 2025, the Practicum student was no longer at the facility. An exemption was submitted on November 19, 2025, for one of the current staff to ensure sufficient staff/child ratio is maintained. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.
