Description: A licensee must ensure that water accessible to a person in care, from any source, is not heated to more than 49° Celsius.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure the hot water temperature is no hotter than 49 Celsius.

Observations: Licensing observed hot water temperature to be 53 Celsius. This represents an immediate risks to the health and safety of persons in care and must be corrected immediately. The manager stated that the temperature on the hot water tank was lowered, and staff would be monitoring the temperature daily. Full compliance will not be achieved until the plan has been implemented and completed.

Description: A licensee must keep, for each person in care, a record showing the following information: name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure immunization information is on file for all persons in care.
