Description: A licensee must ensure that all employees comply with the policies and procedures of the medication safety and advisory committee.

Corrective Actions Taken By Licensee: Licensing audited the Medication Administration Record and observed all person in care's medicatons had been signed for or coded by staff.
Actions Required By Licensing: No further action required; this contravention has been addressed.

Observations: Licensing audited six person in care's weight records. Five persons in care had no weight recorded in either May or August 2022.

Description: A licensee must operate the community care facility in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care

Observations: Licensing audited four person in care's elopement and restraint monitoring. One person in care, who required hourly restraint safety checks, had not had safety checks completed between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on October 21, 2022.
