Description: A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

Observations: Licensing discussed cleaning protocol and procedures with the upstairs room staff. Staff did not know what products to use to sanitize tables and disclosed that tables were not sanitized on Friday after care of before eating on Monday during care.
3010 - CCLR 19(1)(f)
Description: A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: evidence that the person has complied with the Province’s immunization and tuberculosis control programs

Observations: Licensing observed two children signed in to the downstairs program, in the upstairs room. Licensee stated they don't sign children out of one room and in to another if they move around.

Observations: Licensing observed one child with an inhaler and instructions that stated "for emergency use". There was no care plan in place with details as to when and how to administer the inhaler. Licensee/Manager stated there are multiple care plans in process by previous manager. They were unaware of the children the care plans were for or if they were complete.
