3070 - CCLR 60(5)
Description: A licensee must keep a record referred to in section 57 [records for each child] for at least 2 years from the date the child who is the subject of the record is discharged from the community care facility.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure records referred to in Section 57 (attendance, registration, incident reports, medication) are kept for at least two years from the date the child is discharged from the facility Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On April 24, 2026, Manager submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: All staff would read and sign the Staff Confidentiality Policy, which stated they would need manager approval to access registration files and would not remove documents from the daycare office. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

Observations: Regarding intake March 30, 2026. Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that a file of a child no longer in care was not kept on site. Manager stated that they were unable to locate the file.

Description: A licensee must do all of the following:(b) operate the community care facility in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure to operate the community care facility in a manner that will promote the health, safety & dignity of persons in care, specifically, following care plans. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On April 24, 2026, Manager submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: Care plans would be updated immediately and accurately to reflect the supports provided to children who required them. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

Observations: Regarding intake March 30, 2026. Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that a care plan for a person in care was not followed and was not updated to include strategies to guide behaviours such as physical guidance and use of sign language.
