Description: A licensee must ensure that the temperature in each bedroom, bathroom and common room is safe and comfortable for a person who is carrying out the types of activities that would be reasonably expected in the ordinary use of the room.

Corrective Actions Taken By Licensee: Licensing toured the facility and audited the temperature in the bedrooms of six persons in care and in five bedrooms the temperature was below 25 degrees Celsius. In one bedroom the temperature was 25.2 degrees Celsius and the care plan indicated the person in care preferred a warmer temperature bedroom, and the facility was completing 30 minute checks during heat waves.
