Observations: Licensing observed heavy objects stored and not secured on overhead shelves in all three rooms. Outdoors, Licensing observed standing water in the large tires and a steering wheel with sharp edges. The following items were observed and corrected at the time of inspection; a ladder and an empty discarded mini-refrigerator accessible to children in the outdoor area and tree round under the Little Tykes climber platform causing a fall hazard.

Description: A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: (b) character references in respect of the person
