3000 - CCLR 13(1)
Description: A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees

Observations: Licensing observed that the two fire extinguishers were in need of servicing.
3000 - CCLR 47
Description: A licensee, other than a licensee who provides a care program described as School Age Care on School Grounds, must ensure that any heated water accessible to children is heated to no more than 49° Celsius.
Corrective Actions Required: Licensing tested the two sinks and were at 52.9 degrees celsius. This represents an immediate risk to the health and safety of persons in care and must be corrected immediately. A plan for corrective action is to be submitted to Licensing by July 7, 2025. Full compliance will not be achieved until the plan has been implemented and completed.
Corrective Actions Taken By Licensee: Ensure person in care do not have access to water greater than 49 degrees Celsius.

Description: A licensee must ensure that each employee practices implementing the fire drill system at least once each month,

3070 - CCLR 57(3)(a)
Description: A licensee must have in writing from a parent, and maintain at the community care facility, consent (a) to call a medical practitioner or ambulance in case of accident or illness if the parent cannot immediately be reached,
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that each child has written consent from guardians to seek medical attention in case of accident or illness.
