Observations: Licensing observed five person in care rooms. Two person in care rooms had medications which had not been safely and securely stored.
3080 - RCR 72(b)
Description: A licensee must ensure that a person in care’s medication is returned to the dispensing pharmacy if the expiry date on the medication has passed.

Observations: Licensing audited a medication cart and observed a medication that expired in June 2026. Licensing spoke with staff who stated the medication was still being used.
