Observations: Licensing toured the facility and observed the menu was not posted in three unit. The walls had recently been painted.
3010 - RCR 40(1)(a)
Description: A licensee must ensure that the performance of each employee is reviewed both regularly and as directed by the medical health officer under subsection (2) to ensure that the employee continues to meet the requirements of this regulation,

Observations: Licensing reviewed 13 care files. One care file did not contain immunization information.

Description: A licensee must ensure that each care plan is reviewed and, if necessary, modified if there is a substantial change in the circumstances of the person in care

Observations: Licensing reviewed 13 care files, including three files with persons in care who have wounds. Two care plans did not correspond with what was in the Medication Administration Record (MAR) for instructions on the wound care. One care plan had not been updated as the wound had healed and no longer being dressed as indicated in the care plan.
