Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: Between June 25, 2025 and July 4, 2025, Manager submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: a staff meeting was held on May 30, 2025 with staff and members of the Board to review the incident occurred, policies and staff responsibilities regarding supervision. Staff meetings would be held on a quarterly basis for professional development and staff would continue to review policies and procedures. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

Observations: Regarding intake May 28, 2025. Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that staff did not demonstrate the skills required to ensure the health, safety and dignity of children when a child who was known to require close supervision was left with a practicum student and later was left unsupervised long enough to climb a garden embankment and leave the daycare.

Action/s Required by Licensing: Between June 25, 2025 and July 4, 2025, Manager, submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. Staff and practicum students were reminded that students were not included in ratio, left alone with children nor act as qualified staff. Additionally, staff reviewed and signed a diagram indicating the requirement of supervision by a minimum of two staff to always see all areas of the playground. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.
