Observations: Licensing observed that part of the shelving used for storage of children's personal items was not secured to the wall. Licensing observed heavy objects stored overhead and not secured in child care areas.
3010 - CCLR 19(1)(a)
Description: A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: a criminal record check for the person

3010 - CCLR 20(1)

3030 - CCLR 34(2)(a)
Description: Without limiting subsection (1) a licensee must ensure that children attending a community care facility are divided into groups, with each group having no more children than that permitted in Schedule E, (except FCC/IHMACC/REC; child qualified if in age range or within one month (except GCC School Age)).

Observations: Licensing observed that enrolment at the facility was seven full time children attending care. Six of the children attending care were under the age of forty-eight months old and only four children under the age of forty-eight months are permitted in FCC at a time.

Description: A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a)name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number (MSP number does not apply to REC only) and immunization status.
