3030 - CCALA 7(1)(b)(ii)
Description: A licensee must do all of the following: operate the community care facility in a manner that will promote in the case of adult persons in care, the rights of those persons in care;
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that the community care facility is operated in a manner that promotes the rights of adult persons in care. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On April 10, 2026 the Licensee submitted a correction action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: On April 8, 9, and 10, 2026, education was provided to the second floor staff clarifying that recording television content on the televisions of persons in care was not permitted. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

Observations: Regarding intake dated January 16, 2026. Through the investigation process, Licensing determined the Licensee did not operate the community care facility in a manner that promoted the rights of an adult person in care.
3030 - RCR 52(1)(a)(ii)
Description: A licensee must ensure that a person in care is not, while under the care or supervision of the licensee subjected to any of the following types of abuse or neglect, as described in section 1 of Schedule D: financial abuse
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that a person in care is not, while under the care or supervision of the Licensee, subjected to financial abuse. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On April 10, 2026 the Licensee submitted a correction action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: On February 10, 2026, Licensing received evidence that the trust account for a person in care was reimbursed funds for pay-per-view programs purchased on their television, on April 8, 9, and 10, 2026, education was provided to the second floor staff clarifying that recording television content on the televisions of persons in care was not permitted and when it involved any costs to the person in care it constituted financial abuse. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.
