3010 - CCALA 7(1)(b)(i)
Description: A licensee must do all of the following:(b) operate the community care facility in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that the health, safety and dignity of children in care are maintained. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On August 8, 2025 Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: staff will complete policy review, additional training (e.g., age rated programming) prior to returning to work. Screen Time Policy will also be updated to reflect the outcome of this investigation. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

Observations: Regarding intake July 17, 2025. Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that staff did not make decisions to ensure the health, safety and dignity of children in care, specifically allowing children to watch videos not rated for the age of the children.

Description: A licensee must ensure that a child is not, while under the care or supervision of the licensee, subjected to any of the following types of abuse or neglect: emotional abuse,
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that children are not being exposed to emotional abuse while under the care or supervision of the Licensee. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On August 8, 2025, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: staff will complete policy review, additional training (e.g., age rated programming) prior to returning to work.
