Description: Depth guidelines for loose fill material (if protective surfacing used) : minimum 15 cm (6”) for 1.5 metre (5’) equipment height minimum 30 cm (12”) for 2.3 metre (7’) equipment height (Consider surfacing table, Triax, etc.)

Corrective Actions Required: Ensure a minimum of 6" in protective surfacing underneath equipment that is 5 feet in height.

Observations: Licensing observed that the pea gravel underneath composite climber measuring 5' in height and a swing bay measuring 5' in height was hard. Due to this hardness, Licenisng used the depth measuring tool and was unable to detect any amount of protective surfacing underneath equipment.
