Observations: Licensing tested the hot water on all floors of the facility and identified eight water sources where hot water accessible to persons in care was above 49 degrees Celsius. These high temperatures ranged from 51.3 to 57 degrees Celsius and were found in the rooms of persons in care, serveries accessible to persons in care, and tub rooms. This represents an immediate risk to the health and safety of persons in care and must be corrected immediately. The Manager stated that a plumber will attend the facility to address the temperature of the water. Full compliance will not be achieved until the plan has been implemented and completed.
