3010 - CCLR 19(1)(a)

Observations: Licensing observed the bathroom between Preschool 1 and Preschool 2 had three of four toilets working, one had cardboard overtop because it was not working. The stalls did not have any toilet paper. Staff stated if the children need toilet paper they have to ask for it. The toilet paper was stored high up for only staff to access. Children had no access to their own toilet paper in Group Child Care (30 Months to School Age) program without a teacher providing the toilet paper.
3030 - CCLR 34(2)(a)
Description: Without limiting subsection (1) a licensee must ensure that children attending a community care facility are divided into groups, with each group having no more children than that permitted in Schedule E, (except FCC/IHMACC/REC; child qualified if in age range or within one month (except GCC School Age)).

Observations: Licensing observed in one Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) eight children with one ITE, in another Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) nine children with one ITE and one ECEA, in another Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) there were eleven children with one ITE.
3030 - CCLR 34(2)(b)
Description: Without limiting subsection (1), a licensee must ensure that the ratio of employees to children attending a community care facility is no less than that permitted in Schedule E.

Observations: Licensing observed one IT3 had eight children with ten signed in and IT2 had ten children with eight signed in at the time of inspection. The children were being moved to other classrooms but it was not reflected on the attendance.
3070 - CCLR 57(2)(d)
Description: A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner (doctor's name and number does not apply to REC only) and emergency contact
