Observations: Licensing toured the facility and observed marks and damage to the walls in two person in care's rooms.
3030 - CCALA 7(1)(b)(i)
Description: A licensee must operate the community care facility in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care

Observations: Licensing observed ten person in care's restraint monitoring. Four persons in care, who required restraint monitoring every two hours, had not had checks documented on November 19 and 20, 2021 and two persons in care who required restraint monitoring each shift, had not had checks documented on November 20, 2021.

Description: A Licensee must do all of the following: operate the community care facility in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure the community care facility is operated in a manner that promotes the health, safety and dignity of persons in care. Specifically, that all staff follow the Provincial Health Orders.

Observations: Licensing was screened for COVID-19 symptoms upon entrance to the facility and observed the facility screener without eye protection and not behind a plexi-glass barrier.
