3000 - CCLR 16(3)(a)
Description: A licensee must ensure that the entire outdoor play area is enclosed in a manner that is suitable for the age and development of children, and will ensure that children are free of harm
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure the children's designated outdoor play area is enclosed in a manner that is suitable for the age and development of children in care and children are free from harm.

Observations: Licensing observed the fencing appears pushed down on the side of the designated outdoor play area to a neighbour who has building supplies in their yard. Licensee noted in her attendance book that this occurred on May 2, 2022. There is also an area of the designated outdoor play area that children can access that has brambles, a discarded toilet, large metal chain, and other building supplies.

Description: Thorough daily, monthly and annual inspections, as well as maintenance and repairs of the outdoor play area are performed and recorded
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure a thorough daily, monthly, annual inspection, maintenance and repairs record of the outdoor play are is kept.

Observations: Licensing observed that the Licensee writes in her attendance record book daily "checked yard", however no record of a thorough daily, monthly, annual inspection, maintenance and repairs was not available for review.
3010 - CCLR 22(2)(b)
Description: A licensee must ensure that each employee practices implementing the fire drill system at least once each month,

Observations: Licensing reviewed monthly fire drills. No fire drill was practiced in April 2022.
3070 - CCLR 57(2)(a)
Description: A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a)name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number (MSP number does not apply to REC only) and immunization status.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure all children have MSP number on file.
