Description: If a person in care refuses or is unable to be weighed, the licensee must record in the nutrition plan of the person in care the reason why the person in care was not weighed
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure weight is recorded for persons in care or that the nutrition plan documents why the person in care cannot be weighed.

Observations: Licensing reviewed the weight records for two persons in care. Each had only one weight recorded in the last six months and the reason why there were no other weights recorded was not documented.
3070 - RCR 83(4)(c)
Description: Subject to subsection (5), a licensee, other than a licensee who provides a type of care described as Hospice, must record the weight in the nutrition plan of the person in care.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure the weight of a person in care is recorded in their nutrition plan.
